Program Highlights
Pre-K is an exciting time for children, parents, and teachers as the potential to grow individually expands dramatically in each child. Our Pre-K children at KidzPlanet benefit from three comprehensive, research-based programs from SRA, a division of McGraw-Hill Education, for a well-rounded approach to kindergarten readiness: Real Science, Real Math and Open Court Reading. Open Court Reading gives children the building blocks they need to develop a solid reading foundation. Real Math makes mathematics "real" for children by building on what they already know and learn outside the classroom and incorporating essential skills and concepts through fun and relevant applications. Real Science brings science to life through a combination of sight, sound, and activities. By decreasing the stressful conversion from an open school environment to a standardized curriculum based on standards, KidzPlanet Pre-K program gives children the understanding that learning can be an exceptional experience full of exciting challenges, preparing them for a smooth transition into a more formal educational environment.
